Museums in Manhattan

J P Morgan Library

In 1902 Pierpont Morgan hired the architectural firm of McKim, Mead, and White to build a library adjacent to his brownstone on 36th Street and Madison Avenue. In design and purpose, the library stands as one of the purest expressions of an American movement at the turn of the century. It took as its model the artistic and humanistic ideals of the Italian Renaissance.

I don’t know why, but i find the days and the month proper for someone to visit the place.  It is a wonderful experience.

Here’s a mag i created for the Morgan Library and Museum, and you may click on if you wish to get some more info : The Morgan Library and Museum

  1. We love museums, typically go to lots of them all over, but have not been to these, probably because so much to do in NYC, and only been one day in the last 10 years. If had a longer time would go for sure.
