Because the following article of mine is pinned on the top of my blog : My beloved brothers and sisters

And because some friends asked for a translation, i write this post to translate this excerpt, and get an idea of the hymn and the moment that you see on the video.  It is Holy Saturday, and a bit before it goes 12 : 00 .


“Come and get light, from the light that never burns out ( actually the meaning here is a bit deeper, since the word “αν-έσπερον” is closer to “no dark” or “no night”, meaning that this light doesn’t know from darkness since it never looses its power )

… and glorify the Christ, who’s raised from the dead”.
