Where is my Nobel prize, dear

i’m pissed |

they gave Dylan the prize. A Nobel in Literature.  Really ?

PS: “For having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition”.

Really ?

Dylan

I know you like Dylan.  I like Dylan too.  However, i don’t bite, dear.  It is wonderful, though, if you’ re a writer or a poet or a scientist, to receive a prize. Whatever the name of the prize is.  It is wonderful, dear.

On the other hand, when you use words like “Literature” and “Tradition” -especially the second one which is written like a PostScript, an additional remark at the end of the letter, the one after the signature- to justify your selection, then, don’t blame me for the critique, dear.

Further more, “Tradition” means “People”, your grandmother, your mother, yourself, the “ordinary” people, who they not only know how to pass the story, but they are, also, part of the story. I wish, next time, your grandmother to be nominated for a prize, the one in Literature.  I’m serious, darling.
